Jeweller, Silversmith & Metalworker, making meaningful gifts for magical moments, hand crafted with love.
As a young girl I was happiest drawing, decorating dens, making mud pies, building lego houses, as well as a bit of sewing, knitting and baking. I loved it all as long as it involved making things. That love of creative pursuits led me to study jewellery & silversmithing at Birmingham’s School of Jewellery. There I found a real love for working with metal and particularly love to work with sterling silver.
After graduating I worked for a number of years as a designer for different brands, but one of the businesses I was working for closed so after being made redundant I was lucky to find a lovely job as a receptionist in a local hospital, which was really close to home so it gave me some time to start a business from my spare bedroom, doing what I love, making things.
So Nina Louise was created and I really wanted to develop a range of unique jewellery and gifts inspired by people’s stories, personalities and loves and interests.
The business slowly grew and became a full time business moving from the spare room to a lovely garden building where I can listen to the birds and watch their endeavours throughout the year.
A Small Business Who Cares..
I hand craft every order with love and care and am a complete romantic so hope each one will be loved and treasured. I love to hear about the stories behind them and how much they mean to the people who order them and receive them.
Working with UK suppliers I buy my Silver from Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter and Pewter from Sheffield.
Your order will come in a lovely UK made card gift box which is great to keep but if you wanted to the box is recyclable and the printed gift card inside the box is also recyclable.
Your order will be sent in environmentally-friendly Jiffy Bags® made with 100% recycled paper fibre lining and are fully recyclable, biodegradable, and compostable.
The foam inserts currently used are not easily recycled and I am looking at an alternative to those.
